I am also a retired professor of technical communication at Texas Tech University. I am the author or co-author of several books on writing and editing as well as a score of articles in journals and collections on topics related to professional ethics and intercultural communication.  I am a Fellow of the Association of Teachers of Technical Writing and a recipient of STC’s Jay R. Gould Award for Excellence in Teaching Technical Communication.
